Privacy law in the United States is a complex and evolving field that encompasses various regulations and guidelines designed to protect individuals’ personal information. These laws are crucial for ensuring that personal data is handled responsibly and ethically, especially in the age of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI). 

A few months ago, representatives of the Philadelphia Law Department reached out to request I train their entire department about GenAI and use of GenAI by lawyers for legal work. I was honored by the request. So, on July 24, 2025, I presented a GenAI Literacy training to the entire Philadelphia Law Department. During this training, I covered what GenAI is, and most importantly it is not.
